Cabopino Port, Puerto de Cabopino, is one of the most attractive settings on the southern coast of Spain. Cabopino beach has several family beach restaurants and the typical chiringos are located will offer you the pleasure of enjoying the savoury grilled sardines.  An old fortified watchtower still stands proudly by the sand dunes alongside the beach.  From its privileged position it is possible to see all along the coast to Marbella, Gibraltar and Africa beyond, a spectacular backdrop for a spectacular beach.  The sand dunes are popular with nudists and after a certain point, the beach is “clothing optional” rather than naturist and sign posted “Zona Natura” so you shouldn’t find yourself wondering into the area by mistake.  The wide range of activities available at the marina includes chartering a boat or trimaran and dolphin trips, para-gliding or scuba diving.  Hire of jet skis, banana boats and inflatable rings are also available here.

This part of the Costa del Sol is in the heart of the “Costa del Golf”, which boasts many landscaped 18-hole golf courses within easy reach, including the 18 hole Cabopino course close to the apartments.  Las Chapas, Miraflores and Siesta courses are also nearby.

Only 12 km from Marbella and 14 km from Fuengirola, it’s hard to believe that a hidden jewel such as Cabopino exists in the heart of the Costa del Sol.  With an attractive beach, relaxed atmosphere, pleasant harbor and renowned restaurants, Cabopino is undoubtedly the Coast’s best kept secret.

Calahonda, Mijas Costa is the nearest main commercial centre, (3 stops on the local bus or 20 mins walk) with large Supermarkets, McDonalds and all amenities.  There is an open air terraced dining area with 8 restaurants and bars above the SuperSol.

Cabopino Port also has a fast wireless broadband connection supplied by Y-Internet, based in Calahonda.
